Barcelona put L. Jovic Move on hold amid race with Madrid & Bayern (Marca)

Barcelona have decided to put their move for Eintracht Frankfurt striker Luka Jovic on hold and instead focus on other targets.

An eruption of interest in the Serbian international, namely from the likes of Real Madrid and Bayern Munich, has caused the Catalans to take a step back from a potential bidding war.

The German club are considering the possibility of keeping the striker for one more campaign before letting him go in the summer of 2020.

At the same time, the father of the player has declared that his son was not sure whether he wanted to join Barcelona, with regular first-team football being unlikely.

Barcelona are almost certain to strengthen their attacking line with a center forward in the summer.

They want a serious backup option to Luis Suarez with the Uruguayan reaching the 33 years of age next season.

Barcelona will look at other options in the market and they are said to be interested in the likes of Rodrigo Moreno, Marcus Rashford, Nicolas Pepe and Antoine Griezmann.
